Dr. Elizabeth Miazga is an Obstetrician-Gynaecologist at Trillium Health Partners and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She completed residency and a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction at the University of Toronto. She has a Masters of Law in Health Law from Osgoode Hall, York University. Her research interests include surgical education and endometriosis, and she has incorporated mindfulness into both of these fields of research and practice.

Dr. Brenna Swift is Gynecologic Oncologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She completed residency and fellowship at the University of Toronto. She has a Masters in Health Sciences Education from McMaster University.
Her research interests include surgical education and innovation, including surgical coaching and mindfulness in surgical training.

Dr. Monica Pearl is a graduate of The University of Toronto Medical school, class of 88. She completed her two-year Family Practice Residency at Women’s College Hospital. She is a lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto and teaches Medical students in her community office, Bellair Family Practice. She holds her CCFP and FCFP with the College of Family Physicians. On June 12, 2012, she completed her Professional Training in Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy in Women’s Mental health with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. She teaches the Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for Depression course.
Her research interests include surgical education and innovation, including surgical coaching and mindfulness in surgical training.

Dr. Andrea Simpson is an Obstetrician-Gynaecologist and Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgeon at St. Michael's Hospital, and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. She is active in both postgraduate and undergraduate medical education and has won a number of teaching awards, including the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) National Faculty Award. She is a clinician-investigator and her research interests include the health and well being of physicians.
Her research interests include surgical education and innovation, including surgical coaching and mindfulness in surgical training.

Dr. Dana Soroka is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto, and a urogynecologist at Unity Health Toronto. She did her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Ottawa, and fellowship in urogynecology at the University of Toronto.
Her research interest is incorporating mindfulness in medical education.

Dr. Deborah Robertson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and an active obstetrician-gynecologist at Unity Health - St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. She is the Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS) Fellowship at St. Michael's Hospital.
A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Dr. Robertson pursued her medical school education and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology before completing a MIGS fellowship and obtaining a Masters degree in Studies in Law at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Robertson is an advocate for resident and physician wellness – both inside and outside of the operating room. She participated in University of Rochester Medical School Mindful Practice in Medicine programs (Core Workshop and Facilitator Training) where she learned to incorporate mindfulness into the practice of medicine.

Victoria Tran is a third-year medical student at the University of Toronto, aspiring to become an obstetrician-gynaecologist. She holds a Masters in Health Sciences Education from McMaster University. Her research interests include the use of social media in medicine, online education, and learner wellness. She is passionate about women’s and children’s health, as well as advocating for student health and wellbeing throughout medical school.

Bonnie Wang is a biomedical designer currently completing her Masters in Biomedical Communication at the University of Toronto. Interested in student and patient education, she explores the intersection of science, education, and art through interactive design, animation, and illustration. Her current research project focuses on enhancing education for patients with peripheral nerve injury through the creation of an interactive web resource that provides comprehensive information about the clinical treatment process.
